Fusion Joins MYLINE Carriers Association
Fusion Communications Corporation has jointed the MYLINE Carriers Association (official
name: Carriers Association of Dialing Parity), which is comprised of the telecommunications carriers that
plan to participate in the MYLINE Carrier Selection Service when it begins operation on May 1, 2001.
Via the 0038 carrier access code, Fusion will be providing both in-prefecture and
out-of-prefecture long-distance telephone services. As Fusion will be providing these long-distance services
on a nationwide basis from the spring of 2001, customer registration of Fusion's access code will also be
available nationwide.
Fusion's most distinctive characteristic will be the provision of long-distance telephone
services at a unified low price nationwide, essentially eliminating the traditional communications industry
fee schedule based on the distance of telephone calls.
By setting an easily understandable fee schedule with much lower prices, Fusion hopes
to gain the patronage of a large number of customers via the MYLINE Carrier Selection Service.
Fusion's detailed fee schedule will be announced in a separate release in early 2001.
