Fusion Establishes Saga Fusion Service Corporation
Fusion Communications Corporation established a new company on April 9 in the city
of Saga, Kyushu, in Western Japan. The Saga Fusion Service Corporation will handle call center duties that
were previously outsourced or handled at the head office in Tokyo. The aim is to distribute risk and control
running costs.
To secure an advantage in the IP telephone market, where competitive pressures are
expected to intensify, Fusion is now placing its call center business under direct control. This will allow
the company to more quickly ascertain customer needs, improve services, reduce costs, and reinforce its management
system.
The first task to be addressed by the new firm is to respond to phone calls to the
Fusion's Customer Center. The new company aims to expand in the future to handle its own telemarketing and
accept call center business contract work from other companies.
Please see the appended sheet for details about the new firm.
