Fusion Adds NTT FLET'S Services to FUSION VPN
Begins Offering International IP-VPN Service

Fusion Communications Corporation has added FLET'S ISDN, FLET'S ADSL, and B FLET'S access lines to its VPN architecture service. The company has been offering broadband connection service to corporate customers using ACCA Networks Corp.'s DSL service for the access lines, and has been offering Secure TG (Secure Tunnel Gateway) and VPN architecture service using IPSec (*1) since July 1 of 2002. As of October 1, this service has been expanded to include the aforementioned FLET'S access lines, which belong to the regional data communications network operated by NTT East and NTT West.

By adding FLET'S service to its access lines, Fusion has both expanded its service area and given customers the additional option of accessing M FLET'S and other FLET'S services via FUSION IP-VPN access lines.

Fusion has also added international IP-VPN service to its menu of IP-VPN services. This allows the company to offer its highly secure, flexible IP-VPN service to global companies with bases of operation outside of Japan.

Fusion plans to continue expanding its menu of VPN services beyond data communication to build the infrastructure for the next generation of communication service for corporate customers, merging voice and data.

*1 IPSec (Security Architecture for Internet Protocol): A standard for encrypted communication over the Internet and other IP networks using mutual authentication and virtual paths.
