Fusion Hits 2 Million Subscriber Mark, Reaching Fiscal 2002 Target Over 4 Months Early

Fusion Communications Corporation has now signed up a total of two million customers. The company has seen its number of subscribers expand steadily since 2001, when it began offering telephone service. The company had set out to sign up two million subscribers within fiscal 2002 (which ends in March 2003), but reached this landmark on November 12. In other words, it has achieved its target over four months early.

Fusion started offering its services in April 2001, and over a year and seven months, as a large number of customers have used the services, the company has established a reputation for reliability which has helped it achieve its target ahead of schedule. Also contributing to Fusion's success are an increase in public awareness of IP telephony, and the fact that Fusion offers its customers a superior choice in terms of both calling charges and services.

The company has announced the commencement of its IP subscriber telephone service, FUSION IP-Phone service. Thanks to the recent increase in the number of companies entering the IP telephony business, many IP telephony issues are being addressed. The number of IP telephony users is expected to continue to increase steadily, and Fusion is delighted to be able to provide a communication environment that lowers the cost of keeping in touch, makes IP telephony more accessible to both businesses and households, and offers customers more convenience.

As a leader in IP telephony, Fusion will strive to improve its services further by offering a wider variety of IP telephone services that will satisfy even more customers.
