Fusion Revises Rates for Dedicated-line ISDN and Dedicated-line IP Telephone Calls to Mobile Phones

Fusion Communications Corporation has revised its rates for calls made from dedicated-line ISDN and dedicated-line IP telephones to mobile phones in Japan. The new rates, shown below, go into effect on April 19, 2004.

Current Rate:
18 yen/minute (18.90 yen including tax)
54 yen/3 minutes (56.70 yen including tax)
Note: Same rate throughout Japan for all mobile phone operators


New Rate:
17 yen/minute (17.85 yen including tax)
51 yen/3 minutes (53.55 yen including tax)
Note: Same rate throughout Japan for all mobile phone operators


Other

Rates for calls made to mobile phones in Japan through Fusion's international relay system (*1) will drop from the current rate of 19 yen per minute to 18 yen per minute, and service will continue to be provided.

With "Japan mobile" as an available call destination, Fusion offers international telephone service for calls made from dedicated-line ISDN and dedicated-line IP telephones to mobile phones in Japan through an international relay. Dialing follows the international dialing convention: 010-81-90 (or 80)-AAAA-XXXX.


Using interconnections with mobile phone operator exchanges, Fusion, as a provider of dedicated-line telephone service, is able to set prices and provide telephone service to mobile phones in Japan by connecting directly to the exchanges of mobile phone operators in Japan. Dialing can be done directly to a mobile phone number: 090 (or 080)-AAAA-XXXX.
