Fusion Begins Two-way Telephone Service through IP Telephony Platform of Additional Provider
On July 22, 2004, Fusion Communications Corporation begins IP telephone service
over the fixed-line phone network allowing FUSION IP-Phone to be used for calls to or from 050 numbers
on the IP telephony platform of KDDI Corporation.
Fusion has been offering this IP phone service in connection with four other
IP telephony platforms--those of NTT-Com, Japan Telecom Co., Ltd., Plala Networks, Inc., and NTT-ME Corporation.
The addition of KDDI means that IP telephone service will be available on five IP telephony platforms.
