Fusion Begins Two-way Telephone Service through IP Telephony Platform of Additional Provider

On July 22, 2004, Fusion Communications Corporation begins IP telephone service over the fixed-line phone network allowing FUSION IP-Phone to be used for calls to or from 050 numbers on the IP telephony platform of KDDI Corporation.

Fusion has been offering this IP phone service in connection with four other IP telephony platforms--those of NTT-Com, Japan Telecom Co., Ltd., Plala Networks, Inc., and NTT-ME Corporation. The addition of KDDI means that IP telephone service will be available on five IP telephony platforms.

Outline of Service

1. Start-of-Service Date

July 22, 2004 (Thurs.) (Becoming available between 10:00 a.m. and noon)

2. Call Rates

8 yen/3 minutes (8.4 yen/3 minutes including tax, same rate at all hours)
Note: Rates for calls initiated through KDDI's IP phone service are set by the call-initiating service.
