Fusion Offers "Mobile Choice "Service

Fusion Communications Corporation will provide "Mobile Choice,"a new service that enables the separation of business and private phone calls on one mobile phone, starting on December 1, 2004.

Mobile Choice is a third party billing service that allows a company to pay the call charges for business calls made from a mobile phone privately owned by an individual.

At present there are three methods in use that allow a company to pay the mobile phone charges for business use: 1) Mobile phones in the company name are lent to employees; 2) Charges for calls made on employees mobile phones for business purposes are calculated; and 3) Employees are given a monthly stipend for business calls. Each of these methods has drawbacks, however, both for the company and for the employee in terms of cost burden and management costs.

The Mobile Choice service provides billing of call charges to the company simply by dialing 0037-66 ahead of the destination number. This eliminates the need for a system of lending company-owned mobile phones to employees, and with it the basic monthly fees. Or, when an employee pays the charges for his or her own mobile phone, this service eliminates the complicated procedure of determining which calls were business-related and calculating the charges accordingly.

The Mobile Choice service solves existing problems with the use of mobile phones for business use and should greatly reduce mobile phone-related costs for enterprises.
