Fusion Merges Toll Bypass Services

Fusion Communications Corporation currently offers two toll bypass services - Fusion's nationwide domestic and international phone service (0038) and Tokyo Denwa service (0081/0082) for the Kanto region (*1). As of January 1, 2007, however, these two services will be merged into one system to run operations more efficiently.

Customers currently using the Tokyo Denwa service will be switched to the Tokyo Denwa Plan (0081/0082) for the Kanto region, which will belong to Fusion's domestic and international phone service. Starting in January 2007, new customers who register for Fusion's toll bypass services must choose between the Basic Plan or Business Plan for Fusion's nationwide domestic and international phone service (0038). (*2)

The purposes of merging the toll bypass services at this time are to improve the efficiency of all systems and to make services simpler and easier to understand for customers.

(*1)The Kanto region is defined as one metropolitan area and six prefectures, plus Yamanashi Prefecture, and Shizuoka Prefecture east of the Fuji River (excluding remote islands).
(*2)With the toll bypass service merger, at the end of November 2006 new applications will stop being accepted from customers in the Kanto region for MYLINE or MYLINE PLUS registration of the Tokyo Denwa Plan - except for existing Tokyo Denwa service customers who move within the Kanto region.
