Fusion Communications Corporation recently formed a device partnership alliance with In4S Inc. to provide
FUSION IP-Phone, Fusion's IP subscriber telephone service. On June 5, the company officially enables
its IP telephone adapter e-Gateway to be compatible with FUSION IP-Phone.
The Fusion Service Partner Alliance is a policy that Fusion has adopted to expand the IP telephone market
based on an "open ISP" and "open vendor" approach. The e-Gateway IP telephone adapter is being positioned
as a better equipped and more inexpensive product aimed at expanding Fusion's IP telephone terminal market
and services for corporate customers. The e-Gateway adapter, which enables users to utilize as many as
four channels at a time, has already been verified as compatible with the FUSION IP-Phone network, and
is compatible with a number of PBX devices. Fusion plans to market the e-Gateway adapter actively, mainly
through PBX distributors, particularly targeting small and medium-sized enterprises. This product, in
combination with FUSION IP-Phone, will offer an efficient network solution for corporate customers. In4S,
by utilizing its IP telephone technical and development know-how, plans to create more efficient and
user-friendly FUSION IP-Phone-compatible telephone terminals which will include such items as VoIP adapters
for small offices and home offices as well as INS1500-compatible telephone terminals for large-scale
corporations. Fusion and In4S will use the new alliance to continue cooperating with each other in expanding
FUSION IP-Phone service for corporate customers.
