Fusion Forms Partnership with Net-2Com for IP Phone Server Software
Net-2Com's Self-Managing Centrex Server Now Compatible with FUSION IP-Phone

Fusion Communications Corporation has formed a partnership with Net-2Com in IP subscriber telephone services for its "self-managing" Centrex server software, SubCentrex 3.0, designed for large-scale users and telecommunications service providers (ISPs, ASPs, and ITSPs), now to be compatible with "FUSION IP-Phone."

The partnership allows customers to use the FUSION IP-Phone service to build a large-scale IP telephone system that provides a wide range of SubCentrex 3.0 features including hold, call forwarding, and conference calls, using compatible phone terminals. It also offers a way for service providers to provide multiple users with a self-managing Centrex service in an ASP model.

It also provides multi-tenant management so that telecommunications service providers can use the system to easily manage subscribers, making it useful as infrastructure with a wide range of functions to provide various ASP services.

Compatible terminals include IP telephone sets, TV phones, wireless LAN mobile phones, and next-generation mobile phones. (In December 2004, Net-2Com will release a new dual-mode phone named "WiPCom" that provides wireless LAN and CF card compatibility.)

SubCentrex 3.0 is offered at the low price of 8.4 million yen for a minimum configuration of 200 user licenses. Net-2Com hopes to sell 20 units this fiscal year and 100 units next year.
Fusion and Net-2Com will now work together, using the new alliance to expand the FUSION IP-Phone service for corporate customers.
