Fusion Communications Corp.
Fusion Starts FUSION IP-Phone Compatible ClickCall (TM) Service
Office Calls Made Easy! Just Click on PC Address Book to Put Through a Call

Fusion Communications Corporation will begin providing ClickCall (TM) service that is compatible with FUSION IP-Phone on October 25. This service allows an IP phone call to be initiated by a computer mouse click, using the ClickCall client software provided by Fusion at no extra charge. Calls can be made by directly inputting a destination number, or simply by selecting and clicking on a number from an address book or list of previous calls made in the client application.

This bringing together of computer and telephone usage is uniquely made possible through the IP phone system. ClickCall eliminates the need to look up and dial a phone number every time a call needs to be made, thereby boosting work efficiency.

ClickCall can also be tied in to groupware and other applications that manage phone numbers and addresses. The first application linkage is available through the "Yasashiku Meishi Filing PRO" business card software for Windows from Media Drive Corporation, which has an integrated ClickCall feature. Calls can easily be initiated through ClickCall from within the program by accessing the stored telephone number data. Other applications will be appearing in the future featuring ClickCall integration, which will expand the use of IP telephone systems.

Fusion is promoting a 050 "personal number" system for corporate users and aims to expand services that utilize the special features of IP telephone systems to provide greater convenience to corporate users for voice communications.
